Great Bible for Early Readers

Standard

I was sent a copy of this updated edition from Thomas Nelson through the Booksneeze program. Upon arrival, I handed it over to my son who was exstatic about his new bible. The artwork is absolutely beautiful. I was expecting the art to look great but it is captivating. There are close to 30 pages of pictures which are spread throughout the bible. The last few pages are maps of Abraham’s Journey, The Desert Wanderings, Jesus’ Last Week in Jerusalem and Palestine in Jesus’ Life.
The font is of decent size so that one does not have to strain to read it. It is written in the International Children’s Bible translation which is about a 3rd grade reading level. When early readers read other translations they lack understanding in some areas and often have questions or need explanations. This is my first time reading through the ICB translation and its perfect for grade school children.
I would definitely recommend this to friends and family!
